At Lynx, we design standalone mixed reality systems that seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds, unlocking the full potential of XR through advanced optics, passthrough, sensing, and on-device intelligence.
Our mission is to enable people and organizations with accessible & open hardware that transforms how knowledge is transferred, skills are developed, and complex work is performed by bringing digital intelligence directly into the physical world.
Founded by Stan Larroque, Lynx brings together a growing team of engineers, researchers, and product designers working across XR hardware, computer vision, real-time graphics, and human-computer interaction.
We integrate optics, ergonomics, embedded systems, and software into a single, integrated product vision, where rigorous engineering meets thoughtful design.
Our first device, R1, marked a turning point in XR as the first true stereo color passthrough headset to be announced and demonstrated, establishing a new standard for mixed reality.
Our next generation device, R2, carries this vision forward by building on the core strengths of R1 — passthrough alignment, mechanical ergonomics, and system-level integration — and elevates them with state-of-the-art optics, a refined form factor, and a new level of performance, comfort, and usability for professional-grade spatial computing.
